Ubuntu 12.04 Laptop Computer

UBUNTU 12.04; Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS Precise Pangolin, is the most used UBUNTU OS.

Supports:

Flash
Chromium

UBUNTU 12.10, (Quantal Quetzal)
Installs; but then deletes Windows Theme Display Icons.
Is very slow even when used with a new model computer.

Ubuntu 12.04LTS, can replace Windows XP/ Windows 7; for computers that have a glitch using the newer Windows Beta Browsers.

Ubuntu 12.04LTS uses Firefox 17; or Firefox 23 if you download Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on the Internet. I originally installed Ubuntu 10.10; but it ran too slow, and removed certain files like the Icon Images, and the functions from the display screen. Ubuntu 12.10 was supposed to compare to Windows 7, and Windows 8 OS.

The Ubuntu 12.04 has a display screen that is similar to Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal.

The laptop I'm using is using 512MB RAM, with about 2GHz CPU; but I can upgrade to 2, 1G Kingston 1GB KTM-TP0028/1G for IBM Lenovo Laptop DDR266, to make it faster for multi-use functions, or for the video player; but, many video movies won't play on it. If you use P2700 for this laptop it throttles it down to P2100.

Some of the newest computers can probably run Ubuntu 10.10 or above, fast; that have dual or quad core CPU processors, and can use 4 to 16Gb of RAM memory.

Ubuntu 12.04LTS, comes with Libre Office 3. Maybe, the newer Firefox is replaced in the newer Internet download for Ubuntu 12.04; because so many people still like this version of Ubuntu.
